Deadline for pre-registrations: 15 June 2008

Pre-registrations for the ALD 2008 conference are now closed. However, it is still possible to register onsite in Bruges, where the late rate fees will be applied. You can download the onsite registration form here. In order to save time, you can already fill this out and bring the completed form with you to the onsite registrations desk in Bruges.

⁽¹⁾A letter from the student’s advisor or a copy of the student card will be required to confirm the training status. This proof needs to be sent together with the registration form. If not received, the full rate will be applied.

⁽²⁾Registration fees are subject to 21% VAT. The above fees are VAT included. The rates between brackets are VAT excluded. Please note that during the on-line registration procedure, registration fees are mentioned excluding VAT. The amount of VAT is calculated and added at the end of the registration process.

The workshop registration fee includes:

participation in the workshop on 29 June
workshop bruncheon and coffee break
workshop handouts (if applicable)

The conference registration fee includes:

participation in the scientific sessions from 30 June to 2 July
abstract book and conference recordings (DVD)
social event on 29 June (if indicated when registering): a guided tour of the brewery “De Halve Maan”, followed by the welcome reception
lunches, coffee breaks & receptions

Visits
Depending on the number of positive replies received, the organisers are considering to plan a visit to IMEC – Leuven and/or the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) on Thursday 3 July, the day after the conference. If you are interested to visit IMEC - Leuven and/or TU/e, please make sure to indicate your choice(s) when registering. There is no additional fee to be paid for these visits. Final details will be available in due time.

Payment
Full payment in Euro (EUR) should be sent with your registration. It is possible to pay:

by credit card (Eurocard/Mastercard or Visa – other credit cards will not be accepted)
by direct bank transfer into the Momentum/ALD 2008 account with KBC Bank, Heverlee Park: Account number 422-0028289-27 / IBAN BE48 4220 0282 8927 / BIC(SWIFT) Code KREDBEBB.
For ease of processing, please indicate clearly the name of the participant and mention ‘Registration for ALD 2008’ on the transfer document. Payment should be received on the conference account within 2 weeks after registration.

Registrations on-site can be paid by credit card (Eurocard/Mastercard or Visa) or cash in EUR.

Confirmation of registration
A confirmation of registration will be sent to each participant.

Cancellations and replacements
Cancellations of confirmed registrations are subject to a charge of 75 EUR per participant provided the cancellation is received before 15 May 2008. After this date no refunds will be made. Replacements of confirmed registrations are subject to a charge of 50 EUR per participant.
